Sometimes in our lives, we feel like we have run out of steam? We can get stuck in a rut and don’t seem to have the same focus and drive for our goals and the things that used to excite and challenge us? We procrastinate and tread water.
Sometimes we lose sight of our goal altogether or we may simply have too much on our plate and often this goes unrecognised.
And to make matters worse, if we do lose focus, we start with the negative self-talk and which discourages us even more and makes it less likely that we’ll get back in track.
So how do we get out of the rut and rediscover our motivation? Hypnotherapy can help us explore any subconscious barriers that are getting in our way. Sometimes, our ladder is up against the wrong wall? For example, you may be working towards promotion in a job that you hate?

Sometimes it’s just that our goal or desired outcome is simply too big and too scary and our primitive mind tries to keep us safe by distracting us with mindless pastimes, binge-watching Netflix, over-eating, drinking, video games etc.
During therapy, we will set out to get to the bottom of what you would really like to achieve in your life. Your circumstances and priorities may be totally different than they were 2, 5 or 10 years ago? So what does your preferred future really look like? Honesty is essential here. Where would you be living? Who with? What would you be doing for a living? What would your finances be like? What kind of shape would you be in? What new skills would you have developed?
Once we have explored your preferred future we can then use hypnosis (trance) to visualise this new future and embed the images and feel of the new you in your subconscious so that it can help you achieve your desired outcome.
And we can set small measurable steps to track your progress and move you up the scale. Your motivation, self-confidence and self-belief grow as your conscious and subconscious minds work together.
